Hi there! Welcome to the official Wolf of the West Press blog!
So what is Wolf of the West Press? At the moment, it's a little more than a dream. Soon it will be the imprint under which I publish my first novel, Blackblade: Vengeance of the Necromancer, which introduces the hero Draven Blackblade, his world, and his first great adventure. Eventually more titles will be added to the Blackblade series as I chronicle Draven's further exploits, along with other stories set in the same world...and perhaps others! My real goal, however, is for Wolf of the West to become an imprint that publishes more than my own work and to become a trusted source for cutting edge sword and sorcery fiction.
Over the next several months, I will be using this blog to discuss the process of writing a novel, my thoughts on what makes for good storytelling, defining what I mean by cutting edge sword and sorcery, and sharing some of my thoughts on popular culture. I also be giving you a few peeks into the story itself, including introducing you to our hero and his world.
